The assistant answers questions and reads your drawing for gaps. Other helpers run on the device and check sizes as you type.
AI commands
AI commands run from the command bar and read your current drawing for context. They need internet.
- ask question: building codes, specs, materials or how the app works.
- narrate: write report narration from the drawing.
- completeness: scan for missing tags and measurements.
- duplicates: find redundant tags.
- scope text: compare a scope document with the tags (what is in the scope but not tagged, and the reverse).
- energy: energy code requirements for the drawing's address. Fill in Drawing Info first.
- customer: a customer-friendly summary.
- patterns: ordering and coverage insights.
- fieldnotes text: turn dictated observations into tag drafts. Pair it with the mic.
Photo analysis and auto-fill
Select a gallery photo to have AI describe components, materials, damage and conditions. Auto-fill also works by itself: the first photo on a tag with empty fields fills in size, style, location and condition notes, and a banner says which fields. It never overwrites what you typed and waits 10 seconds between calls. It uses its own allowance.
Checks that run on the device
These need no internet and cost nothing from your allowance.
- Dimension validation under a tag's size fields: bedroom egress minimums (20 in wide, 24 in high, 5.7 sq ft), manufacturing limits (over 72 in wide or 120 in high), and a mismatch of more than half an inch against an imported ProVia order size.
- Smart tag naming turns Window 1 into a name such as Kitchen DH from the location and style. It only renames default names.
- Completeness nudges: small orange icons on a draft tag for missing size (ruler), photos (camera) or location (pin). They hide on flagged and verified tags.
Allowances and controls
Interactive AI has a daily and monthly allowance by plan: Free 5 a day and 25 a month, Pro 30 and 500, Team and Scale 100 and 2,000. Photo auto-fill has its own: Free 3 a day, Pro 50, Team and Scale 150. The count is kept on the server per person.
On a personal workspace, switch AI helpers on or off under Settings, App, AI features. On a team, an owner or admin sets them for everyone under Settings, Team, Field tools (AI for the team).
