Tap a tag to open its detail sheet. Everything below is on that sheet.
Photos on the tag
The Photos section takes a quick photo or one from your library, and it stays with the tag, apart from the drawing's gallery. Tag photos print in the report beside the tag's sizes. View tags share photos across the layouts in the same view group. Photograph the manufacturer label for the model and specs in one shot.
Copy and paste sizes
Tap the copy button in the tag header. On another tag of the same type (window to window, door to door) a Paste menu offers Paste All, Paste Size Only, Paste Style Only or Paste Notes Only, and shows which tag it copies from. Measure one of a set of identical windows, then paste to the rest.
Quantity groups
Give a tag a quantity above one and it becomes a group of sibling tags with the same name, size, style and notes. Siblings can be on different layouts. Chevrons step between siblings, and a badge shows the count. Change the quantity to add or remove siblings, ungroup one that turns out different, or apply the current notes to the whole group. A group with one left dissolves.
Rough opening to exact size
Always type the rough opening, the raw tape measurement. The app converts it to exact (unit) size with an offset you set once under Settings, App, Measuring and drawing (R.O. offset), either subtracting or adding. With an offset on, the fields read Width (R.O.) and Height (R.O.) and an Exact Size line appears. Reports and the tag panel then show the exact size.
Each window tag can override the global offset with Custom (its own width, height and direction) or None. Doors are not offset, and neither are leg heights or mull sizes. A common offset is 3/8 inch subtracted.
Interior and exterior sizes
A tag can store interior and exterior width and height separately. When exterior sizes exist, an Interior and Exterior chooser appears, and the active one is what reports use. INT and EXT badges show in the review grid.
Mulls
Open the mull configurator from the grid icon to describe several units in one rough opening. Layouts are Ribbon (side by side), Stack (top to bottom), Matrix (rows and columns) or Custom, with six quick-start templates and an automatic notation such as a-b-a. Enter the overall rough opening, set the clearance (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 or 3/4 inch, or 3, 6, 10 or 13 mm, or your own) and use Calculate to share the width or height among the units, allowing for the mull bars. Each unit type can have its own size and style. Warnings flag units that do not add up to the opening.
Trapezoid leg height
When the style detail is Trapezoid Left or Right, a Leg Height field appears. It is the short side, is stored as typed and prints in the report.
