Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Pro. You do not enter a card. Here is what is in it and what is not.
What you get
The 14-day trial is Pro. You can use the full Pro app for 14 days: measuring, drawing and reports without the watermark, jobs, customers, estimates and proposals, e-signature, invoicing, payments and the customer portal.
The trial pill at the top of the app shows how many days are left. Settings, You, Plan & billing is where you pick a plan.
What is not in the trial
The business phone number, texting and calls are not part of the free trial. A number costs money to register, and every text and call costs money to send. They start when you pick a paid plan.
- Settings, Selling, Texting shows Not part of the free trial. The button reads See plans if you manage billing, or Ask your owner to upgrade if you do not.
- Business numbers, call forwarding, voicemail, carrier registration and call history wait for a paid plan.
- Customer texts do not go out. Rows say By email during your trial.
How customers hear from you
During the trial, customer messages go by email. That includes the reply to an estimate request, schedule notices, reminders and the links to proposals and invoices. The customer replies by email and it lands in your inbox.
You can also copy a link and send it any way you like.
What is on the Team plan
Some things are for the Team plan, not for Pro or the trial.
You cannot invite your crew until you are on Team or Scale.
- Crew invites, so your crew can sign in.
- Dispatch, to send a crew out.
- The time clock and timesheets.
- Office seats, and more than one market.
When the trial ends
You keep measuring free. Your drawings and data are not deleted. Choosing a plan starts billing straight away, with no second trial.
Pro tip: Use the trial to send a real estimate to yourself. You see exactly what a customer sees, by email.
