Money

What you're owed

Money is one list of every ask: invoices, proposals and change orders, with what is owed, late and unbilled.

Money is where you see what you have asked for, what has arrived and what is still owed. Open Money in the Core group of the rail, or the Money tab on iPhone. It is for people with money access.

One list

Money is a single list, not a set of pages. Every invoice, change order and contract that has money in it is a row. Tap a row to open the record.

  • A strip at the top shows the totals: what is outstanding, what is late and what you collected.
  • A row of filters narrows the list: All, To send, To sign, Awaiting payment and Overdue.
  • Sort by what is most urgent, date, amount or customer.
  • Proposals have their own view, and open from the same page.

What the words mean

Billed means asked for. Collected means arrived. They are never the same number. See Bill a job.

  • To send: ready, not yet sent.
  • To sign: waiting for the customer's signature.
  • Awaiting payment: sent and not yet paid.
  • Overdue: past its due date.

What you can do

  • Start something with the plus button or the Create menu: New proposal, New change order, Bill a job or New recurring invoice.
  • Bill the next draw on a job in one tap.
  • Send a reminder, text the pay link, or record a payment from the row.
  • Work the past-due list in Collections.

Who sees it

Money is only for roles with money access. Everyone else still builds proposals and works jobs. They do not see invoices, balances or margins.

Pro tip: Open Money on Monday and clear To send first. A bill that was never sent will never be paid.
