A shared drawing lives in the cloud, so everyone on the team sees the same layouts, tags and photos as they change.
Share a drawing
Use the share drawing command or Share in the drawing menu and choose the market it belongs to. The drawing uploads and then syncs both ways with everyone assigned to that market. Changes arrive without a refresh, and layouts, tags and details all sync.
Sync status
The indicator in the header reads Live (connected), Syncing, Offline (working from the cached copy) or Error. Offline edits sync when you reconnect. For Error, close and reopen the drawing. Photos upload through their own background queue that resumes after a drop in connection or a restart, so large batches may arrive later than the layouts.
Working together
Presence avatars show who has the drawing open and their cursors show as named crosshairs. Layouts being edited show a lock for others, and the lock lets go after 10 seconds without activity. Give each person their own layouts. If two people edit the same layout offline, you choose Keep Local or Keep Cloud on sync, so nothing is silently overwritten. Photos and markup sync on their own and rarely collide.
Read-only
Collaborators (homeowners, inspectors, subcontractors) get a read-only copy. Invite them from the share screen with an email or link. They see a home screen of drawings shared with them, and can add photos, videos and markup but cannot change the drawing. They do not use a seat. A drawing also becomes read-only for everyone if the team's plan has lapsed. The sync engine enforces this, not just the screen.
Who can see money on a shared drawing is a separate question. See Who sees what.
